Help with La Mesa for iPhone
Does La Mesa need an internet connection?
No. Scoring, history, and stats all work fully offline, so it's fine at the beach, on a cruise, or anywhere the signal drops.
Where are my matches saved?
Only on your iPhone. There's no account and nothing is uploaded. If you restore a new phone from an iCloud or computer backup, your La Mesa data usually comes along with it.
The scanner can't use my camera.
Open the iPhone Settings app, scroll to La Mesa, and turn on Camera. If you'd rather not, you can always enter points by hand.
The scanner counted a hand wrong.
You can correct the total before saving the round. Scanning works best in good light, on a plain table, with the tiles flat and not touching the edge of the frame.
I entered a round by mistake.
Open the match and delete the round from the round log. The scores update automatically.
How do I erase everything?
Go to Settings in La Mesa. Clear match history removes matches and rounds but keeps your players. Factory reset removes everything.
